Samved School became a proud recipient of the International School Award for tenure of three years. This prestigious International School Award is an accreditation scheme instituted by British Council. It is a global benchmarking project that recognizes the outstanding work done by schools that are committed to developing international learning in their curriculum.
A dossier containing the evidences of the projects conducted in school in 2013-14 was submitted for the International School Award and was approved.
The school will get the following privileges as part of the Award:
- ISA trophy for the school
- Certificates for the school, Principal, ISA Coordinator and up to ten members of the ISA team in school
- Use of the coveted ISA kite mark on all official stationery and promotional materials
- Invitation to attend the annual British Council Awards Ceremony and associated seminars.
The school can participate in new activities each year on the Schools Online website and some template projects that match with the school’s goal for the year that are very challenging.
The school is also eligible for applying for grants to support partnerships with schools in UK by planning collaborative activities that support the development of global citizenship in students.
